JAMMU, Sept 3: Ten students from Jammu Sanskriti School (JSS) brought laurels to School and for themselves by winning 10-medals with 2-Silver and 8- Bronze in District Jammu Wushu Championship held at MA Stadium, here.
Over 350 participants from various schools took part in the championship. The medal winners are Sujal (Silver), Abhiilash (Silver), Khushboo (Bronze), Muskaan (Bronze), Tarnjeet Singh (Bronze), Karnjeet Singh (Bronze), Munish (Bronze), Smile (Bronze), Nitin (Bronze) and Gaurav (Bronze) and a trophy for the School.
Students were coached by Jagpreet Kour and S Ravinder Singh. Chief guest, Director HRDC Jammu University distributed the prizes.
Principal cum vice chairperson,Rohini Aima lauded the efforts put in by the students and teachers.
