JAMMU, Dec 9: Strikers XI defeated J&K Secretariat Cricket Club (JKSCC) by 7 wickets in the ongoing All India T20 Cricket Championship at MA Stadium, here.
Batting first, JKSCC scored a modest total of 114 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Danish top scored with 41 runs, while Rayees and Mehraj-ud-Din contributed 13 runs each. For Strikers XI, Akash Chopra took 3 wickets, while Vikram Singh and Sahil Bhal claimed one wicket each.
In reply, Strikers XI chased the target easily in 11.5 overs by losing 3 wickets to win the match y 7 wickets. Deepak Dogra scored 32 runs, Amit Sharma contributed 21 and Sahil Shafi chipped in with 17 runs. Sunil Dhar, Imtiayaz Ahmed and Mehraj-ud-Din claimed one wicket each for JKSCC. Deepak Dogra was adjudged man of the match.
