JAMMU, May 8: Despite the fact that the Amateur Roller Skating Association is affiliated to J&K State Sports Council, the Roller Skating Championship is being organized by Gliders Skating Club, under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir Roller Skating Association, which is not an affiliate unit of the Council.
Such scenes leave the sportspersons in the lurch, who some times are caught in a fix whether to go this way or that way.
Tournaments ought to be organized by the affiliated units only for betterment of sports and games in the State.
