JAMMU, Dec 30: Stephen International Public School and Dr Aparna Kids Kingdom Pre-School celebrated annual day at Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu, here today.
Amrit Malhotra, Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council was the chief guest on the occasion.
The celebration started with lighting of traditional lamp by the chief guest and other dignitaries, which was followed by ‘Vandana’ song presented by the kids of the school.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Malhotra stressed for providing quality education to the students, adding that physical activities are important for healthy body and healthy mind.
He said such programmes presented by the students are conveying a message for the betterment of the society. Later, the chief guest distributed prizes among the meritorious students of the school.
Among others present on the occasion were Principal Secretary, Higher Education, K B Aggarwal, Deputy Inspector General, Dr Kamal Saini, Principal Satwinder Saini, Vice Principal Rama Jamwal, staff members and prominent citizens.
