Stephen CA to lock horns with Game Changers in finals

JAMMU, Sept 12: Stephen CA will lock horns with Game Changers in the finals of the ongoing 30 overs match series, organised by Trikuta CA at Railway Ground.
The first match was played between Stephens CA and Mier CA. After winning the toss Mier CA elected to bat first and scored 148 runs in 26.2 overs. Aryan scored 32 runs, Shazad and Bhumesh contributed 22 runs each. For Stephens CA, Sanjog and Abhay took 3 wickets each and Aditya Sharma and Atul clinched 2 wickets each.
In reply, Stephens CA chased the target and scored 150 in 27.3 overs for the loss of 7 wickets. Shavac made unbeaten 68 runs and Gursimran Singh scored 32 runs. For Mier CA, Sagar and Tegvansh took two wickets each. Thus Stephens CA won the match by 3 wickets. Shavac Makin was adjudged as man of the match for his brilliant performance with the bat.
In the 2nd match, Trikuta CA won the toss and elected to bat first against Game Changer. They scored 163 runs in stipulated 30 overs by losing 8 wickets. Aditya Abrol scored highest 62 runs, Adhijay Mehta made 33 runs and Pranav contributed 17 runs. For Game Changers, Aquib secured 3 wickets, Varun took 2 wickets.
While chasing the set target, the Game Changer chased the target in 28.4 overs. Aquib scored unbeaten 34 runs, whereas Sachin made 31 runs and Arihan and Varun contributed 21 runs each. For Trikuta CA, Dapinder and Aditya Abrol took 2 wickets each. Thus Game Changers won by 2 wickets and reached the final. Aquib was declared as man of the match for his brilliant performance.
