Ravinder Khajuria Memorial Basketball C’ship

JAMMU, Nov 28: The Sports Authority of India (SAI) Training Centre Warriors Jammu Basketball teams lifted the en and Women titles of Late Ravinder Khajuria Memorial Championship, organised by Jammu and Kashmir Basketball Association at Basketball Court, MA Stadium, here.
STC Warriors men’s team beat Terriers by (89-64) to win the title, while STC women’s team defeated Trikuta Club by (29-8) to claim the title.
Prof Keshav Sharma, Dean Academic Affairs University of Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion and gave away the prizes to the teams, while Ranjeet Kalra, Member STC Management Committee was the guest of honour. Over 30 inmates of SoS village were special guests.
Dr Shashikant Goswami, former senior Officer of SAI, Amarjit Singh and Dev Raj, both national coaches from SAI, Vikram Handa and Ashok Singh, Aman Sharma and Sushma Jamwal also graced the occasion with their presence.
On the occasion, both chief guest and the guest of honour lavished praise on the organisers for holding the event in a befitting manner.
