JAMMU, Apr 2: Sports kit was distributed among 79 inmates of the SAI Training Centre Jammu in an impressive function held at KK Hakku Stadium, here today.
Complete sports kit worth Rs 5000 was given to each of the Residential/Day Boarding inmates of the STC, which included playing kit, Game Shoes, Track- Suit, T- Shirts, Towel and Kit bag.
Members of the STC Management committee including Dr SM Bali and Ranjeet Kalra, Senior Coaches of the SAI and Regional Centre of the SAI Chandigarh, Parents, Sports enthusiasts, officers of the Sports council and Members of the Press were present on the occasion.
Dr Bali appreciated the work of the STC Jammu and applauded its efforts towards performance coaching in selected disciplines, while Mr Kalra appreciated the role of the Sports council in supporting the endeavours of the STC for improving sports performance in chosen disciplines.
