JAMMU, May 1: J&K Sports Power Lifting Association organized selection trials at RKM Gym, Upper Gummat, Kanji House, Jammu and selected State Bench-Press and Power Lifting (Sub-Junior) Men and Women team for their participation in the Sub-Junior National Bench-Press and Power Lifting Championship to be held at KD Singh, Babu Stadium, Weighting Hall, Hajiraganj, Lucknow from May 12 to May 15, 2016.
According to a handout issued here, the team was selected by the Association on merit basis in the presence of Rajan Jain, general secretary and Narender Singh Manhas, secretary, besides other officials.
In men category selected players include Selish Khokher in 93kg category, Tarun Gupta in 93 kg category, Danish Wani in 66kg category, Sparsh Sangral in 53 kg category, Kapil Kumar in 59 kg category, Pankush Bhatia in 59 kg category, Ankush Bhatia in 53 kg category and Sahil Kaushal in 66kg category.
Rajan Jain and Rakesh will accompany the team as manager and coach respectively.
