JAMMU, Oct 6: Former MLA Shiv Dev Singh Manhas inaugurated the State Powerlifting Championship at Shiv Palace, Roopnagar, here.
Mr Manhas, who was the chief guest on the occasion, was accompanied by Rajan Jain, General Secretary Powerlifting Federation, Narender Singh Manhas, J&K Sports Powerlifting Asociation, Iqbal Singh, Joint Secretary of State Powerlifting Association, besides a galaxy of officials.
Over 300 powerlifters took part in this mega event to vie for the top honours.
