POONCH, Nov 17: State Level Speedball Championship organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Poonch with the logistic support of Jammu and Kashmir Speedball Association, concluded here on Sunday.
The championship was held in boys and girls group for under 19 category. About 75 participants from four districts of Jammu division and one district of Kashmir division took part in the 2-day long event held in Government Boys Higher Secondary School.
SSP Poonch, JS Johar was the chief guest while principal of the host school and Sunny Nanda, general secretary, Speedball Association were the guests of honour.
Jammu won the overall championship with maximum number of gold medals, where as Poonch district finished with runners up trophy.
The prominent guests distributed medals, trophies and certificates among the players and officials.
