JAMMU, Nov 14: State Karatekas team brought laurels to the J&K by winning eight bronze medals in the AIKF Open National Karate Championship organized by All India Karate Do Federation (AIKF), held at New Delhi.
The medal winners were Sushan Sharma, Sparsh Bhat, Rhythm Sharma, Amit Sharma, Sahil Singh, Abhishek Sharma, Amrita Katoch and Parveen Singh.
In the championship, about 2000 karatekas from all over the country participated and strived hard for the medals.
