JAMMU, Jan 9: J&K Jump Rope team brought laurels to State by clinching 15 medals, including 14 gold and 1 bronze in the 12th Senior Jump Rope National Championship held at Pondicherry recently.
The gold medalists included Uddit Khullar, Navjot Singh, Aman Rai, Ibrar Khan, Mohit, Amandeep Kour, Tanu Sharma, Priyanka Kumari, Addil Ahmed, while the bronze medal was claimed by Karan Singh.
The team was escorted by coach Bua Ditta and was trained by PS Manhas, Technical Director, Jump Rope Association J&K.
General secretary, Jump Rope Association of J&K lauded the efforts of Uddit Khullar for creating new record in India in Triple Under Event.
The team after returning to Jammu was extended a warm welcome by good number of sports enthusiasts, including Shiv Kumar Sharma, Joint Secretary, J&K State Sport Council and general secretary of Jump Rope Association of J&K, Dr Seema Pawan Manhas.
