JAMMU, Feb 25: After holding State (M&W) Bench-Press and Powerlifting Championship recently, the state Bench-Press and Powerlifting team has been selected for North-India Bench-Press and Powerlifting Championship.
The Championship were held at Muscle Freak Gym, Rainawari in Srinag and the trials were also conducted at RKM Gym, Upper-Gummat, Kanji House, Jammu.
The National Championship will be held at Karnal in Haryana from March 20 to March 23, 2016.
The team has been selected by the association in the presence of Rajan Jain, general secretary, Rakesh Jain, president, Dilbag Singh, ADGP PHQ and Jeevan, joint secretary.
Selected players included Vikramjeet Singh, Tarun Dev Singh,Rohit, Sandeep Kumar, Sandeep, Narinder Pal Singh, Vijay Choudhary, Pankaj, Irvinder Kour Gill, Surmeet Kour Soni, Achint Kour, Pranav Pargal, Rajesh Kumar, Vimersh Maini, Sonu Singh, Pankaj Verma, Rohit Singh Jamwal, Pawan Kumar, Vasu, Raj Choudhary, Prabjyot Singh, Feroz Khan, Kewal Krishan, Manoj Singh and Gourav.
