JAMMU, Nov 16: A Squash Championship, being organised for the Officers of Tiger Division under the aegis of Chenab Brigade concluded at the Ultra-Modern Squash Courts of KC Sports Club, here.
A total of 20 officers participated in the competition.
The final match of the championship was conducted between the finalists Maj Jaspreet and Maj Sukhvinder.
Maj Jaspreet won the title with a score of 11-5, 7-11 and 11-6.
The chief guest on the occasion was Maj General Sharad Kapur, YSM,SM, GOC.
Maj General Kapur put in a word of praise for Arjun Chowdhary, the Managing Director of the Club for making KC Sports Club a pulsating hub of numerous sports and fitness activities.
He also appreciated the vision of the Chairman of the Club, Raju Chowdhary for taking the initiative of creating a world-class indoor and outdoor sports complex in Jammu.
Maj General Kapur also took an intensive tour of the indoor sporting facilities available at the Club.
