Springdales School gets prestigious International School Award

JAMMU, Dec 9: Springdales School, Barnai has been awarded with the International School Award (ISA) for three years from 2019-22, an accreditation scheme run by British Council for the prospective schools who wish to embed internationalism in their curriculum.
British Council is a British government organization specializing in international cultural and educational opportunities. It works in over 100 countries: promoting a wider knowledge of the United Kingdom and the English language; encouraging cultural, scientific, technological and educational co-operation with the United Kingdom.
The school was facilitated through Shashi Kiran Bedi, Principal and Khushboo Sondhi, ISA Co-ordinator, who represented the school in a grand award ceremony at The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, New Delhi. Certificates have been awarded to Ms. Roopali Rajput, ISA Co-ordinator along with other ISA activity in-charges.
As a part of ISA, Springdales initiated 7 projects including 4 in-house activities with international dimension exploring cultures of countries like USA, UK, Italy, Japan, Brazil and France along with 3 international activities which were in collaboration with students and teachers of partner schools of Turkey, Afghanistan, Nigeria and Nepal.
The management of the school applauded the meticulous efforts of faculty members and students and for taking a direction towards internationalism and cross-cultural exchange.
