JAMMU, Dec 30: Springdales Higher Secondary School, Jammu, celebrated its annual cultural and prize distribution day, with chief guest Arvind Gupta, MLA and guest of honour Brijesh Sharma (SP Rural-Jammu) in attendance, along with school management, parents, teachers and students.
The event began with ceremonial lamp lighting, followed by vibrant cultural performances, including a Krishna Avtar presentation, Hollywood-Bollywood fusion dance, school choir, patriotic song, traditional games and a Punjabi-Haryanvi-Dogri fusion dance. A dramatic enactment and patriotic dance “Operation Sindoor – A Patriotic Remix” paid tribute to the Indian Armed Forces.
The prize distribution honoured meritorious students for academic, cultural and sports achievements. Chief guest Arvind Gupta motivated students to pursue excellence with discipline, while the guest of honour lauded the school’s holistic education under the theme “Aarohan – Rising towards Excellence.”
