JAMMU, Dec 17: Spring Dales Football XI registered emphatic victory over Alone Football XI to enter into the next round of the ongoing 4th Christmas Soccer Championship for College students and J&K footballers, which is being played at GGM Science College Football Ground, here.
The tournament is being organized by Christian Sports Organization and Jammu and Kashmir Police Department.
The organizing committee members included Rajesh Gill, Rajesh Dhar, Victor Sotra, Asif Gill, David Mattoo, RP Singh, Sunny Gill, Nitu Khokher, Sunil Sambyal, Sandeep Manchanda and Raju.
The slogan of the tournament is -“Be Healthy- Don’t Do Drugs”.
Anil Mangotra, Chief Prosecuting Officer NHRC Jammu was the chief guest in today’s match who was introduced with the participating players on the occasion.
He lauded efforts of the organizing team ‘Christian Sports Organization for conducting the Championship.
Earlier, the match was played between Spring Dales Football XI and Alone  Football XI, in which Spring Dales Football team registered empathetic win with 4-3 goals in a tie-breaker.
From Alone Football Club Ajay, Rishab and Honey were the three players who scored goals through penalty kicks, while from Spring Dales there were four players namely Raju, Rajan, Deepak and Gyan Dass who were succeeded in scoring goals, thus won the match by (4-3).
The referees of the match were Harneel Singh, Altaf Ahmad, Ranjay Kumar and Mohinder.
