REASI, Aug 28: 3-day On The Spot Children Music Competition District Reasi, organized by Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages in collaboration with Director, School Education, Jammu, was inaugurated today here at Government Higher Secondary School for Boys, Reasi.
Aman Dogra, Assistant Director, Planning, Department of Education, Reasi was the chief guest while Kaka Ram Dogra, ZEO, Reasi, Dr Arvinder Singh Amn, Additional Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Dara Singh, Vice Principal, GHSS, Reasi were also present on the occasion.
While speaking on the occasion, Vinod Dogra appreciated the efforts of Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages for organizing such competitions for children in Reasi. While complementing the participating children from Primary and Middle Schools of various areas of Reasi said, that it was the right time to catch them young so that the hidden talent of the youth of the region could be identified in a proper way. Earlier, Dr Arvinder Singh Amn, Additional Secretary, JKAACL preented welcome address.
The adjucators of the competition were Manoj Bakshi, Kuldip Sapru, Vishal Sharma.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Rekha Devi and the programme was assisted by the cultural committee Department of School Education, Reasi including Mohammad Akram Khan, Rakesh Kumar.
The participating students included (Infant Group) Shreya Anthal and Vanshika Sharma from Lawrence Public School Reasi, Vishali Raina from Lawrence Public School Reasi, Sharvya Pandoh, Suhana Bhatt and Advi Sharma from Trikuta Shiksha Niketan Reasi, Shivangi Rajput and Priya Thapa from Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School Reasi, Antara Devi and Sunaksh Sharma from BVM Reasi and (Junior Group), Jannu Lakhotra Nitin Sharma from Govt. Middle School Aghar Ballian, Khushi Sharma and Simran Sharma Lawrence Public School Reasi
