Sports stadium up-gradation work begins

JAMMU, Jan 1: Up-gradation work of Sports stadium of Govt Higher Secondary School Bahu Fort, was started by Sham Lal Basson, Councillor Ward Number 48 along with Rajeev Charak, president Bahu Fort Development Committee and Baldev Raj Nargotra, chairman of Committee, here today.
The Councillor said that it was a long pending demand of people and its up-gradation work including compound wall, chain linked fencing wall and changing room for boys and girls will be completed with the cost of Rs 50 lakhs.
President of the Committee appreciated the Councillor for up-grading the sports facility in the said School which help to engage youth in sports activities and also help the youth to stay away from the drug menace.
Later, the Councillor assured that other pending works like parking facilities, supply of potable water and healthcare facilities will be provided soon. They also visited Bahu Temple and took stock of facilities being provided to devotees.
