13th Christmas Gold Cup Football Tournament

JAMMU, Dec 4: Sports Saviour defeated United Kathua by two goals to nil (2-0) in the ongoing 13th Gold Cup Football Tournament, being organised by All J&K Christian Welfare Association, under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) at GGM Science College Football ground, here.
The players of both the teams showed extraordinary soccer skills, but it was Sports Saviour which succeeded in scoring goals through Rohit.
The match was officiated by Suresh Gupta, Ricky Kumar, Dheeraj Meenia and Dil Bahadur.
Prominent among those who witnessed the match included David Masih, Yusuf Don, Feastus Sotra, Narinder Gupta, Harbans Lal, Mohan Lal and Rattan Lal.
In tomorrow’s fixture, Kartar FC Samba will take on Clemart FC at 3 pm.
