SRINAGAR, Mar 6: District Youth Services and Sports Officer Srinagar, Sunil Singh Sambyal inaugurated ‘Sports for Peace and Development’ event, here today.
The event is a vertical of Khelo India centrally sponsored Scheme 2018-19.
The event is being held in the sports disciplines of Kabaddi, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Cricket, Football for (Boys/Girls).
The event is being held at BHSS Jawahar Nagar, BHS Sonwar, Gindun Ground, Chanapora, Mada-e-Khah and Pologround here.
Around 300 students took part in Kabaddi, Volleyball and Kho-Kho competitions and the positions holders were awarded with medals and refreshment.
