DODA, Mar 5: Three day first Sports Festival 2020 organised by the Department of Physical Education and Sports, GDC Bhaderwah, under the aegis of Higher Education Department concluded with valedictory function, here today.
The event was held under the supervision of Physical Director, Zakir Ali and Convener Sports Committee Prof Naz Zargar.
The valedictory function was organised under able supervision of Principal GDC Bhaderwah, Dr Kuldeep Sharma, who lauded the efforts of Zakir Ali, Physical Education Director, Prof. Naz Zargar and Dr Wahied Khawar Balwan for their good show.
The programme started with the welcome address by Dr Wahied Khawar Balwan, Assistant Professor in Zoology.
The proceedings of the valedictory programme were conducted by Prof Surinder Parihar of Economics.
The proceedings ended with vote of thanks by Prof Naz Zargar.
Final Results: Men and Women: Kho-Kho GDC Bhaderwah beat GDC Kishtwar and GDC Thatri.
Kabaddi- GDC Bhaderwah beat GDC Doda.
Volleyball Women: GDC Bhaderwah beat GDC Doda.
Cricket Women: GDC Doda beat GDC Bhaderwah.
Tug of War Men and Women: GDC Bhaderwah beat GDC Doda.
Table Tennis Men and Women: GDC Bhaderwah beat GDC Ramban and GDC Doda.
Badminton Men and Women: GDC Ramban beat GDC Kishtwar and GDC Doda beat GDC Bhaderwah.
