JAMMU, Oct 6: J&K State Sports Council accorded rousing welcome to the Wushu World Championship medals winners.
On the occasion, IGP Jammu SD Singh Jamwal and VC Sports Council Jammu Ranjeet Kalra, Satish Gupta Manager Sports Council, players and officials received the medal winners Bhanu Pratap, Rajinder Singh, and coach of India Kuldeep Handoo.
They won laurels at World Championship in Russia.
IGP SD Singh while complimenting the players for their stellar performance hoped that they will continue to work hard and bring more honours for the State and the country. It is noteworthy that Kuldeep Handoo and Bhanu Pratap are serving with the J&K Police.
The players expressed gratitude to Sports Minister Imran Ansari and Secretary Waheed-ur-Rehman Parra for their whole hearted support.
