JAMMU, Oct 26: Govt SPMR College of Commerce in collaboration with Yakjha, an NGO from Delhi organized two days workshop on “Youth Expression and Leadership Programme”, which concluded in the conference hall of the college, here today.
The Resource Person in the workshop namely Ashima Kaul, Dr Stanzin Saldan, Ajay Singh, Murtaza Jaffer and Danyal Pathan focused on building of common grounds for restoring peace while knowing the Self through this workshop.
They also conducted various activities through which they highlighted aspects of Perception, Respect for the Individual Being.
The students were also made aware of their role in the world peace process.
In all 34 students from 8 colleges of Jammu city participated in the workshop.
Prof JL Bhagat, Principal of the college in his address on the valedictory function encouraged the students to participate in such activities.
He also lauded the department of English for their effort and hard work in making this workshop a success.
