SPMR College wins Inter-Collegiate Tennis Tournament

JAMMU, Dec 18: Outplaying GGM Science College by (2-0) in the summit clash, SPMR College of Commerce lifted the title trophy of the Inter-Collegiate Tennis (Men) Tournament, which concluded at University of Jammu, here today.
Match was played according to AIU rules in which best of 15 games were played between the teams.
Earlier, in singles, Pranav Anand drubbed Rohit Bhatt by (8-4), while in doubles the pair of Shrawan Bagati and Prateek Bagat got better of the duo of Rohit Bhatt and Rahul Bandral by (8-3).
The match was officiated by Ravish Vaid and Gagan Kumar.
Prof Dhian S Bhau, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up teams and players on the occasion.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Raj Kumar Bakshi, HS Gill, Prof Shafkat Jahangir, Bikram Singh, Vikram Singh and PD Singh.
The Tournament was organized by The Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu.
