LEH, Oct 26: Under the Directions of All India Football Federation, Special Football Programme (Grassroots Coaching Course) commenced at Kendriya Vidyalaya School here for interested Physical Teachers/Senior Footballers of District Leh under the charge of Intikhab Alam, AIFF Grassroots instructor.
24 candidates, including male and female joined the Course which will end on October 29, 2018.
Those who qualify will be assigned the job of coaching budding footballers.
Motive of this Course is to attract & guide the players at the very early age for building their base in right direction,
Tsering Tsomo, qualified Football Coach of District leh is the liaison Officer of the Course.
The Development Officer of AIFF for J&K State incharge is also guiding the District Football Body for adopting newly programme of organizing Baby league for Boys & Girls for age Groups U6 to U-13 at Leh.
The opening ceremony of Grassroots Course was presided over by Gyal P. Wangail, Executive Councilor YS&S & Principal Stanzin Wangil, Kendriya Vidyalaya Kandri Vidyala School, Leh were graced the function & interacted with the candidates.
Many other dignitaries were also presented in the function.
The Programme was organized by J&K Football Association with close support of District administration, District Youth Services & Sports Department.
