SOS, BSF School dominate in Inter-School judo

JAMMU, May 9: SOS School Gole Gujral and BSF School Paloura dominated in the Inter-School Under-14 and Under-17 boys’ judo competition, being organized by the Directorate of Youth Services and Sports at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here.
In 30 kg Under-14 boys, Aryaveer of BSF Paloura bagged gold, while the silver went to Munish of R S Public School, while in 35 kg Under-14 boys, Raman Sharma of BSF Paloura clinched gold, while Janu of Dewan Devi School claimed silver.
Shivam of SOS School won gold in 40 kg Under-14 boys, while silver in this category went to Sourav of Dewan Devi School.
In 40 kg Under-17 boys, Sumedh Singh of Oriental Academy won gold, while Manu of SOS School claimed silver.
Pardeep Singh of SOS clinched gold in 45 kg boys, while Hritik Singh of Shangrilla Public School won silver.
In 50 kg Under-17 boys, Mridul of KC International claimed gold medal, while Numan of Shangrilla Public School clinched silver. Shubam of SOS claimed gold in 55 kg boys and Aryan of Shangrilla School won silver.
In 60 kg Under-17 boys, Sajad Ali of BSF School Paloura bagged gold, while the silver medal in this category went to Shubam of SOS School.
The matches were officiated by Sher Singh, Varinder Sharma, Raman Sharma, Taruna and Madan Mohan.
