Son of soil Rupesh represents UT J&K in Acro & Accuracy Paragliding Cup

JAMMU, Nov 22: Son of the soil Rupesh Masson has brought laurel and represented Union Territory J&K in 1st ACRO and Accuracy Paragliding Cup, which was held at Bilaspur, HP.
This event is First Ever Acrobatic Paragliding event in India and was inaugurated by Govind Thakur Minister of Forest, Transport, Youth Services and Sports HP and MLA Bilaspur Sadar HP Subash Thakur.
Rupesh Masson was invited for this event by the management committee and members of Himachal Paragliding Association because of his past contribution and participations in the paragliding sports events.
It is pertinent to mention here that, Rupesh has also participated in 1st Pre-World Cup in 2004 at Bir Biliing HP.
Rupesh Masson was declared as Event Director for this prestigious event, other Director for this competition were Tanaji Takve-TJ (Pune), Alice Thapa and Subash Thapa from Pokhra Nepal, Vishal Jassal from Bilaspur and Jyoti Thakur from Bir Billing.
Rupesh Masson was also given the responsibility of digital promotion of the event as well as PR and press pelease.
In this paragliding competition, 54 Para-Gliders Flyers from Switzerland, Pokhra Nepal and India participated.
Rupesh was presented “Guest of Honour” trophy and appreciation certificate by Chairmen of Himachal Paragliding Association and MLA Bilaspur Sadar Subash Thakur. Masson was also made an honorary member of Himachal Paragliding Organization due to his contribution towards the adventure activities of Paragliding Sport in India and especially in Himachal Pradesh.
