PATNITOP, Mar 11: Six day long Snow Skiing Course, organized by J&K Tourism Department in collaboration with Winter Games Association of Jammu concluded at famous Hill Resorts of Patnitop/ Nathatop today.
Twenty eight snow skiers drawn from different areas of Jammu division participated in the course and were imparted introductory training in skiing jointly by Rakesh Kaul and Amar Paul Singh, Ski Instructors of J&K Tourism Department and Ashish Nanda, General Secretary of Winter Games Association of J&K.
Mr Nanda extended thanks to the Directorate to Tourism for taking initiative of holding such a mega event, which provided opportunity to young skiers to know fundamental skills of this adventurous sports.
He further appealed the State Government to develop Patnitop/ Nathatop into an International standard Ski Resort.
