KARGIL, Jan 7: Snow Football matches under week long Fit India Movement program commenced at Government Middle School Latoo near LoC, here today.
About 60 participants are participating in the Snow Football matches.
A participant said that playing Football in the winter under minus15 degrees Celsius, that too in the snow was a great experience and thrill, whereas another participant said that this event filled them with joy and the dull season of winter became lively and pledged to continue the activity.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Fit India Movement is a nation-wide campaign that aims at encouraging people to include physical activities and sports in their everyday lives.
