JAMMU, Feb 25: Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Club defeated Fronts Cricket Club (PDD) by 7 wickets in the exhibition cricket match played at Country Cricket Academy ground, Gharota, near here today.
Fronts Cricket Club led by Iqbal, after winning the toss opted to bat first and set a low target of 80 runs by losing 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Parshotam scored 29 runs off 14 balls and Ashwani chipped in with 14 runs off 5 balls.
For SKCC, Sunil took 4 wickets, Aman Cheema, Rahul Khatri, Jimmy and Amit Kumar shared one wicket each.
In reply, SKCC led by Aman Cheema chased the target easily in 14 overs. Anil Langeh played a fine innings of 34 runs off 18 balls, while Rohit Chowdhary contributed 22 runs off 20 balls. Kailash, Pankaj and Rajan shared one wicket each for Fronts Cricket Club.
Sunil of SKCC was declared as man of the match for his superb bowling display.
