JAMMU, Jan 19: Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Club (SKCC) defeated Patel Cricket Club by a narrow margin of 12 runs in the ongoing KC Sports Club Cricket Cup, being played at KC School ground, here.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, SKCC scored a modest total of 129 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Rohit top scored with 31 runs, while Vishal contributed 24 runs to the total. Karan took 2 wickets from Patel Cricket Club.
In reply, Patel Cricket Club bundled out for 117 runs, thus lost the match by 12 runs. Robin was the top scorer with 36 runs, while Subrat contributed 26 runs to the total. For SKCC, Shahrukh was the wrecker-in-chief, who took 4 important wickets, while Pankaj bagged 3 wickets. Shahrukh of Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Club was declared as the man of the match.
