JAMMU, Feb 25: Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Club (SKCC) registered a dominant nine-wicket victory over PMLI Legends Cricket Club in a limited-overs T20 match at Maulana Azad Stadium.
Batting first, PMLI Legends posted 160/8 in 20 overs, with Raman Saini top-scoring 62 off 51 balls and Deepak Malhotra contributing 44. Rahul Sagotra starred with four crucial wickets, supported by Barjinder Singh’s three-wicket haul.
Chasing the target, SKCC led by Surpreet Singh achieved a comprehensive win in 17.5 overs for the loss of just one wicket. Opener Akshit Sharma scored a fluent 69 off 46 balls, while Aneesh Khajuria added a steady 50. Anil Langeh (Shalu) contributed 15 to seal the victory. Vikram took the lone wicket for PMLI Legends. Sagotra was named Man of the Match for his match-winning bowling. Aman S Cheema, Senior Leader NC Youth & SKCC President, praised the competitive spirit and anti-drug initiative promoted through the game.
