SKCC beats GC Club by 38 runs

JAMMU, Oct 17: Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Club (SKCC) thrashed GC Club Gadigarh by a big margin of 38 runs in a match played at Babliana, here today.
The match was organised by National Conference’s youth member Sumit Verma to create an awareness about drug menace among the youth.
After winning the toss, SKCC led by Aman Singh Cheema elected to bat first and set a target of 186 runs by losing 5 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Anil Langeh made 62 runs in just 16 balls, while Taiya scored 35 runs off 31 balls and Surpreet Cheema made 32 runs in 31 balls.
For GC Club Gadigadh, Krishna took 3 wickets, whereas Kashi, R.K and Neeraj clinched one wicket each.
While chasing the target, GC Club bundled out at 147 runs and lost the match by 38 runs. Neeraj scored highest 39 runs off 32 balls, while Asham scored 27 runs in 20 balls. For SKCC, Rohan took 3 wickets, while Akshay and Sandhu bagged 2 wickets each and Vishal and Neeraj took one wicket each. Rohan was declared as man of the match for his outstanding performance.
