Simula seals berth in final of Parade T20

JAMMU, Apr 30: Simula Cricket Club today reached the final of the Salute to Indian Forces Open Twenty20 Cricket Tournament, organised by Parade Sports Association (PSA) at Parade Ground, here.
It was Ritik’s four wicket haul that halted NCC innings at 70 in 15.3 overs after latter won the toss and decided to bat first. Imran and Gokul were main contributors to the total with 15 and 12 runs respectively. From Simula, besides Ritik’s four wickets, Vikram bagged thre and Aakash two.
In reply, Simula chased the easy target in 7.5 overs losing only wicket of Lakhan, who made 24-ball 31. Manjeet made unbeaten 30. Mansih Dogra took the only wicket lost by Simula.
Ritik was later named man of the match. The semifinal officiated by Jannu and Vijay Kumar as umpires while Amarjeet Singh was scorer.
FIXTURE: Laxmi Cricket Club will take on Nagrota Cricket Club in semifinals at 8.30 am tomorrow.
