JAMMU, Nov 18: Sidhant CA thrashed Gandhi Nagar Fighters (GNF) in a thrilling match played here today in 2nd Col RN Chopra Challenge Cup.
Sidhant CA won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 143 runs for the loss of four wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Aryan Dogra scored unbeaten 70 runs while Monish scored 32 runs.
For GNF, Molick took 2 wickets while Sachin claimed 1 wicket.
In reply, GNF failed to chase the target and managed to score only 103 runs for the loss of nine wickets and thus lost the match by 40 runs. For GNF, Nayeem scored 24 runs, Amish scored 16 while Sachin also added 15 runs to the total.
For Sidhant CA, Jivtesh and Karmanya took 2 wickets each.
The matches were officiated by Deepak Dogra and Akash Manhas. The tournament is being organized under the supervision of Chief Coach, Sukomal Ganguly.
