JAMMU, Dec 25: Shubam Khajuria scored magnificent 150 runs off 156 balls, studded with 16 boundaries and 4 sixes, while Zaid made splendid 49 runs to help Jammu and Kashmir manage a draw against Tripura in the match of the Cooch Behar Under-19 Boys Cricket Tournament at Tripura Cricket Association Stadium in Agartala today.
Earlier, resuming their innings from an overnight score of 215 runs, J&K added 78 runs more in the 16 overs of play possible today in foggy conditions. Shubam and Zaid hit the rival bowlers with utmost timing.
Surya Mahotra (15) and Haseeb Shah (5) remained unbeaten when the play was called off.
Now, J&K faces table-topper Haryana at GGM Science College Hostel ground Jammu from December 29, 2013.
The outright victory in that match can help Jammu and Kashmir to qualify for the knockout stage in this Tournament.
