JAMMU, Feb 28: Defeating their rivals convincingly in the semifinals, Surankote Habib Club (SHC) and Glamorous Cricket Club have qualified for the finals and will lock horns with each other in T20 summit clash, being organized by Poonch Police under CAP at Sports Stadium, here.
The first semifinal match was played between YCC and Surankote Habib Club.
YCC won the toss and chose to bat first to score 166 for 6 in 20 over’s, while chasing the target Surankote Habib Club scored 167 for 7 in 19.3 overs. Surankote Habib Club won the match by 3 wickets. Pervaiz Malik of YCC team scored 76 runs and was declared man of the match.
In the second semifinal match played between Glamorous Club and Amjad Club, Amjad Club won the toss and chose to bat first to score paltry 95 runs.
Glamorous Club, in reply scored 96 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 17.4 overs. Skipper Pawan top scored with 21 runs, while Gurvinder scored 15 runs and took 3 wickets to be declared man of the match.
Nadeem Hussain, DFO Poonch was the chief guest on the occasion.
