Shaurya Int’l shines in Matsogi-Do C’ship

JAMMU, Nov 17: Students of Shaurya International School Jammu excelled in 19th UT level Matsogi-Do Championship, organised at JKSC Sports Complex from November 4 to 7.
About 1200 students from different schools participated, which was organized by Matsogi-Do Association of Jammu and Kashmir.
The students including Haziq Bin Nissar of grade 3B, Harshita Choudhary of grade 5A, Ayaan Mahajan of grade-5B, Viraj Singh of grade 5F, Suryansh Victor of grade 10-B, Piyush Manhas of 11C and Tanmay Choudhary of grade 6F won Gold medals, while Manyata Sharma of grade 5E, Anirudh Sharma of grade 5E, Yuvraj Singh of grade 9C and Daksh of grade 9A won Silver medals and Kavya Gupta of grade 4A, Jasmilan of grade 1D, Mahrooz of grade 7D, Anjel Gupta of grade 6F, Ujjwal Spola of grade 5F, Mohd Sayyar of grade 5A, Manjoy Singh of grade 5A and Nachiketa Charak of grade 6D won Bronze medals.
In addition to this, 5 official trophies were awarded to School students and a teacher- Piyush Manhas of grade 11C, Raghav Sharma of grade 11A, Aryan Singh Chib of grade 11B, Suryansh Victor of grade 10B and Jagjeet Singh (Teacher) for their outstanding performances.
Principal Dr Rajesh Gandral applauded the students for their excellent performance and also felicitated them in the School assembly.
