JAMMU, Mar 27: Shanti Swaroop Public Higher Secondary School, Jammu celebrated its 25th Annual Day (Silver Jubilee) function at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium with zeal and enthusiasm, here today.
Yuvraj Vikramaditya was the chief guest on the occasion, while Suman Malhotra, Districtr president , Lions Club Delhi and Usha Bhatia, renowned educationist from Haryana were the guests of honour.
A variety of cultural items were presented on the occasion and the items included folk dances depicted rich culture and heritage of different States, which was highly applauded by the audience.
The presentation of programme was superb, forcing the audience to keep encouraging the students by their blissful clap. One of the items giving message to save the girl child thrilled everyone.
Prominent among the galaxy of dignitaries present on the occasion was thepresident School Managing Committee, RK Bali, who spoke on the occasion and extended his blessings.
The meritorious students were awarded and honoured by the chief guest and other dignitaries present on the occasion.
The chief guest lauded the efforts of the students and the staff for organizing a beautiful programme.
