JAMMU, Feb 4: Shri Guru Gangdev Ji (SGGJ) Model School Shiv Kashi Sunderbani got five “wild life medals” in International Painting Competition-2013 which was conducted by Charu Castle Foundation, Shimla, Himachal in collaboration with Pradesh Nehru Painting Group and Ministry of Environment and Forest, Government of Himachal Pradesh.
While speaking on the occasion, M K Bhan, Director/Principal of SGGJ Model School said that the students showed outstanding artistic skills in the Competition and have been honoured with “Wild Life Medals” by Forest Department.
There were 1300 schools allover the world who participated in the competition with over 1l lakh participants.
Senior faculty member Poonam Sharma spoke on the occasion.
The prize winners included Madhu Sharma (4th), Vikrant Sharma (4th), Akashdeep Raina (7th), Arpit Sharma (8th) and Aditya Ingla (9th).
