Seminar on Nuclear Power by NPCIL organized at MIET

JAMMU, Jan 24: The Electrical Engineering Department at Model Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), Kot-Bhalwal, Jammu organized an awareness programme on the “ Benefits of use of the Nuclear Power in India” in its campus, here.
The event was organized as part of the Nationwide awareness initiative on the use of the Nuclear Power in India launched by Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL).
TR Arora currently functioning as the project Director, Nuclear Power Plant, Gorakhpur, Haryana and BD Jha, Chief Engineer, Rehabilitation and Re-settlement (R&R), NPCIL, Mumbai were the key resource persons on the occasion, while Professor BS Komal, Head Applied Sciences Department presided over the event.
The Event started with welcome address presented by Prof BS Komal and Amit Mehta, Assistant Prof Electrical Engineering Department.
The vote of thanks was presented by Ankit Sharma, Lecturer EED, MIET who was also the event coordinator.
