RAJOURI, Feb 22: Lekh Raj Raina a social activist and educationist has stressed on inculcation of Gandhaian philosophy and thought among the youth which he said will lead to prevalence of peace and brotherhood in the society.
Addressing 73rd seminar on Gandhian philosophy , non violence, truth, communal harmony, national integration in Qila Dharhal today in which over 350 students and youth from different schools and adjoining areas participated, Raina also recited a beautiful song on communal harmony. He said “We are lucky for being the citizens of a secular and democratic country where our great saints, leaders and social reforms preached brotherhood, peace non violence and truth”. He said by acting on such ideals the nation can lead on the path of progress and prosperity.
The seminar was chaired by Principal Government Higher Secondary School, Qila Darhal. Ram Gopal Sharma and tehsildar Qila Darhal acted as guest of honour. Naib Sarpanch Paramjeet Singh also attended the function.
