JAMMU, June 30: A week long seminar on Youth Character building and personality development concluded at Arya Samaj Mandir, Janipur, here today. The seminar had begun on June 24 and was organized by Kendriya Arya Yuvak Parishad, Jammu-Kashmir.
87 students drawn from various schools of Jammu participated in the event.
On the valedictory function, Rakesh ji, organizing secretary, VHP was the chief guest, while senior functionaries of the Kendriya Arya Yuvak Parishad, Jammu-Kashmir and other dignitaries were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Rakesh emphasized the need for character building and reviving and reinvigorating ethical and moral values to evolve a balanced and harmonious society. He advised parents to look at total personality of their children instead of stressing on marks alone.
Kendriya Arya Yuvak Parishad, Jammu-Kashmir president Subash Babber while speaking on the occasion apprised about the number of activities organized during this week long seminar included yoga, hawan, judo-karate, Bodhic teaching, religious teaching, nationalistic principles etc.
Later, the prizes among the winners in different activities were also distributed by the chief guest and other dignitaries.
