JAMMU, Jan 15: Youth Games and Sports Association of J&K conducted State level selection trials for upcoming National Youth Games Championship-2021 which is scheduled to be held from January 30 to 31 at Sirsa in Haryana.
The selection trials were conducted at Udhampur wherein 150 children and youth from various districts such as Udhampur, Reasi and Ramban participated and selected for upcoming event.
Rajinder Singh Katoch, Superintendent of Police Udhampur was chief guest.
Tajinder Singh, president Harman Cultural and Educational Society and Youth Rural Games and Sports Association of J&K honoured the chief guest and other dignitaries present on the occasion.
Gurvinder Kour, State secretary of Youth Rural Games and Sports Association of J&K, Gurpreet Kour (Kabaddi official), Sourabh Kumar (Tug-of-War) and Gurpreet Singh, joint secretary (YRGAS Association J&K) were also present on the occasion and selected the best performers in their respective sports events.
