JAMMU, Feb 20: Singh Cricket Club (SCC) Veterans trounced Jammu Sports Veterans in the 3-T20 Match Series and maintained the lead in the series by 1-0, being played at Government Higher Secondary School Akhnoor, near here today.
Jammu Sports Veterans won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, Jammu Sports Veterans scored 126 by losing 5 wickets in 20 overs wherein Mukesh Sharma made 41 runs, while Vikram and Koushal scored 7 & 8 runs respectively. From the bowling side, SS Langeh got 2 wickets, while Rakesh and Raju shared one wicket each.
In reply, SCC Veterans easily chased the target in 16.1 overs in which Mall Ditta made 32 runs, while Shindi scored 30 runs and Rahul Manni and Vinod contributed 28 and 12 runs respectively. From the bowling side, Pawan Sharma got 3 wickets, while Pankaj, Rajneesh and Raja shared one wicket each.
Mall Ditta was declared as man of the match for his outstanding performance, while Dev Bhagel acted as scorer.
It is pertinent to mention here that the 3-T20 match series is being organized by Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor under the supervision of Sham Singh Langeh (President Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor).
