SCC registers 4 wickets win over RSCC in inaugural tie

JAMMU, July 11: Sai Cricket Club (SCC) registered 4 wickets win over Rajiv Samir Cricket Club (RSCC) in the inaugural tie of the 1st KPL Pink Ball Cricket Tournament for KPs, being organized by Krish Sports and Event at KC Sports Club, here today.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, RSCC scored 95 runs for the loss of 10 wickets in 15.4 overs. Rahul was the top scorer with 22 runs, while Vinod and Yashpal made 20 and 12 runs respectively.
From SCC side, Arvind and Veeru proved their bowling mettle and scalped 3 wickets each, while Munna took 2 wickets.
In the second inning, SCC chased the target for the loss of 6 wickets in 15.4 overs. Munna and Arvind were the top scorers with 33 runs.
From RSCC side, Dileep scalped 2 wickets, while Jai took one wicket.
Arvind of SCC was adjudged as Man of the Match for his all round performance.
The match was officiated by Rakesh and Rahul as umpires, while Fiaz maintained the scoreboard.
Earlier, the tournament was declared open by Ex-MLC Vijay Bakaya, who was the chief guest on the occasion in presence of Advocate Ravinder Raina, President, ASKPC, Satish Koul and Ravi Raina, members, ASKPC, who were guests of honour.
In tomorrow’s fixture, JCC will lock horns with New Star Cricket Club.
The tournament is being organized under the supervision of Sagar Sadhu and Ave Kachroo.
