JAMMU, June 13: Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor got better of Burajj Cricket Club Mishriwala by 7 wickets in the ongoing Jammu Motors T20 Cricket Tournament at Daskal, Akhnoor, near here today.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, BCC scored a modest total of 118 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. Anil top scored with 51 runs, while Lucky and Raman contributed 23 and 18 runs respectively. For Singh Cricket Club, Sunny Mahi scalped 3 wickets, while Sunil and Dheeraj Singh shared 2 wickets each. Sham Singh Langeh claimed 1 wicket.
In reply, Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor scored 123/3 in 13.3 overs, thus won the match by 7 wickets. Nadeem (29), Sonu Manhas (33), Chander Kiran (33)
And Sunny (17) were the main contributors.
For BCC, Sandy took 2wickets, while Lucky claimed 1 wicket. Sunny Mahi was adjudged as man of the match.
The match was officiated by Joravar Singh and Vinod Kumar as umpires, while Rocky was the scorer.
Kuldeep Sharma (Sarpanch Daskal) was the chief guest on the occasion.
He appreciated the players for showing sportsman spirit and enthusiasm. He was accompanied by the organizers namely Sham Singh Langeh, Vivek Sharma, Pankaj Sharma and Jimmy Manni.
