SCC drubs Hoshiarpur XI in Anti Drug Cricket

JAMMU, Dec 22: Shiva Cricket Club (SCC) defeated Hoshiarpur XI in a close contest through super-over to advance in the ongoing 2nd Anti Drug Cricket Tournament at Red Rose Cricket Stadium, Arnia today.
Hoshiarpur scored 118 runs in the allotted overs. Karni Saini 37 and Munish 22 were the main scorers. For Shiva Club, Amit claimed 4 wickets while Jimmy took two.
Chasing the target of 119 runs, Shiva Club managed to score 118 runs in the stipulated overs and the match ended in a tie. Amit and Shubam scored 33 and 22 runs respectively. Munish and Karan took 2 wickets each for Hoshiarpur. Then the result of the match was decided in the super-over, wherein Shiva Cricket Club scored 20 runs and Hoshiarpur managed to score 18 runs to lose the match by 2 runs.
