JAMMU, Apr 20: The first open J&K State Table Soccer Championship being organised by Jammu and Kashmir Table Soccer Association at Dewan Devi Higher Secondary School, Rajpura commenced today.
On the occasion, Member Legislative Assembly (MLA), Prof Chaman Lal Gupta, was the chief guest, who declared the championship open in presence of Anil Gupta, Rahul Jamwal, president, Ashwani Suri, organizing secretary, Rohit Sadhotra, treasurer, SC Suri, Chairman, Dewan Devi Higher Secondary School, Amrik Singh, Bhanu Partap, Sanjeev Gupta and Ranjeet Singh.
In the championship a total of 8 districts including Jammu, Udhampur, Kathua, Poonch, Kishtawar, Doda and Srinagar are participating.
Today’s Result:
In under 10 boys, Satosh Singh of Shastri Memorial, Dakshjeet Singh of Jesus Care and Vanshveer Singh of BSF School claimed first, second and third positions respectively.
In under 10 girls, Pranay Mahajan of KC International school stood first, while Trambika of BSF School and Bhavya Jamwal of KV Nagrota claimed second and third positions respectively.
In under 11 boys, Nikhil Singh of GD Goenka, Anmol Mahajan of JP World and Swastika of KC International secured first, second and third positions respectively.
In under 12 girls, Tanushka of GD Goenka claimed first positions, while Mahi of Shangrila School and Shivangi of Dewan Devi School stood second and third respectively.
In under 14 boys, Naik Slathia of KC International School, Jaipal of Heritage School and Vansh Singh of JP World School claimed first, second and third positions respectively.
The matches were officiated by Komal Gupta, Kawaljeet Singh and Ravinder Singh.
